Kristin Haughney
Kristin Haughney, a native of Reading, PA, has been dancing since the age of three. In her hometown, Kristin was a member of two dance teams, giving her the opportunity to participate in many local and state events, including dancing at two Philadelphia 76ers games. She was an assistant teacher at Dance Expressions in Kenhorst, PA, for three years. A recent sociology grad, Kristin was a dancer and choreographer for the University of Pittsburgh Dance Ensemble for four years, and she served on its Executive Board of Directors for three years. Kristin participated in the American College Dance Festival in 2009 and 2010. She has worked with choreographers from Dance Alloy, Attack Theatre, and the Pillow Project and has performed at various local events, including PERSAD’s Zombie Prom Benefit and Attack Theatre’s Dirty Ball. Kristin is excited to return to PPAC for her second year of teaching tap and Irish!
