Jess began her dance journey at four years old. She grew up as an avid member of Pazaz Christian Dance Academy in Greensburg, PA, where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary,
and pointe. PCDA was a second home to her for a total of fourteen years. In addition to her own training, she assisted with Creative Movement classes and Level 1 – 2 ballet classes over the span of high school. Jess’s passion for working with kids inspired her to pursue a career as a high school math teacher. While earning her B.S. in Mathematics at Grove City College (‘22), she became enthralled with the college’s student-run dance troupe, Orchesis Dance Company.
She performed in a myriad of dances during her time at Grove City and even received opportunities to choreograph her own pieces in 2021 and 2022. Now working as a math teacher at Mars Area High School, Jess is excited to get back to her roots and share her love of dance with all of her new students at PineTree!
